MULTIMA L / K
MULTIMA L and MULTIMA K share the same underlying counter-pressure technology. MULTIMA L delivers product through a long filling tube near the bottle base. MULTIMA K directs it onto the inside wall using a deflector and provides central height adjustment of the valve carrier plate. MULTIMA L is often suitable for a small range of bottle formats. Many formats or frequent changeovers favour MULTIMA K.

L or K filling technology and product conditions are selected for the task.
Crown capping and, where appropriate, screw capping are planned for the application.
OUTPUT DATA
Nominal outputs for Pilsner at 4 °C and 5.6 g CO₂/L, using containers suitable for MULTIMA L/K and the selected configuration.
| Filling stations | 0.33 L | 0.50 L |
|---|---|---|
| 6* | 1,750 | 1,200 |
| 12 | 3,200 | 2,400 |
| 18 | 5,900 | 4,300 |
| 24 | 9,500 | 6,700 |
| 30 | 12,500 | 9,300 |
* The 6-station size is available for MULTIMA L only.
Net output of the complete line also depends on infeed, discharge, closing equipment and other operations. We agree the operating conditions and exact configuration together.
MULTIMA L often suits a small range of formats, typically around three or fewer. Many formats or frequent changes favour MULTIMA K. Approximate times include the basic changeover and additional time per filling station, rounded to five minutes.
| Filling stations | MULTIMA L | MULTIMA K |
|---|---|---|
| 12 | approx. 40 min | approx. 25 min |
| 18 | approx. 50 min | approx. 35 min |
| 24 | approx. 70 min | approx. 45 min |
| 30 | approx. 80 min | approx. 50 min |
No changeover time is given here for MULTIMA L 6. These values describe bottle format changes, not a conversion between bottle and can operation.
TECHNOLOGY IN DETAIL

Example configuration. Equipment and arrangement are defined for your project.

Both families use conventional counter-pressure technology. The bottle is pre-evacuated, CO₂ counter-pressure is established, and residual drink in the return-air line is returned to the central vessel. Product then flows in under gravity. After filling, pressure is released before transfer to the capper.
MULTIMA L uses a long tube to fill near the bottle base. On MULTIMA K, a deflector on the return-air tube directs product onto the inside wall. Only K has central height adjustment of the valve carrier plate; L uses format parts to accommodate bottle heights.

The cam-controlled crown capper closes bottles after filling. The number of capping stations and its integration depend on the selected machine configuration.

A fine water jet encourages the product to foam, displacing air from the headspace before closing. Settings are matched to the drink and filling conditions.

The bottle stop controls the infeed of further bottles during a normal machine stop, coordinating container supply with the ongoing process.

After filling and capping, the outside of the bottle is rinsed to help remove product residues from the bottle and closure.

The base frame reduces horizontal surfaces so water and product residues can drain more easily. Its open construction supports access for cleaning and routine care.

YOUR CONFIGURATION
MULTIMA L is available with 6, 12, 18, 24 or 30 filling stations. MULTIMA K is available with 12, 18, 24 or 30. The 6-station version is exclusive to MULTIMA L.
MULTIMA L offers a lower entry cost for a small range of bottle formats, typically around three or fewer. MULTIMA K makes frequent changes easier through central height adjustment and fewer format parts.
Rinsing and closing equipment are selected for your production. Both families can be equipped with neck-handling holders for PET bottles. Suitable formats and process conditions are agreed for the project.
For the first discussion, tell us your drink, container, required output and available space. After discussing an indicative budget, we agree the scope for a quotation.
Cleaning in Place means cleaning without dismantling components for the CIP process. This also applies to INVASA and CANVASA. Heat-resistant peroxide-cured EPDM seals allow steaming. We agree the cleaning agents, temperature and procedure for your configuration.
For several years, our machines have been supplied with a modem in the control cabinet. Your LAN internet connection enables access through a gateway to our service team. Without that connection, external remote access through the modem is not possible. Telephone and video support are separate ways of helping you.
