MULTIMA 2in1

Plan bottle and can filling in one machine.

MULTIMA 2in1 combines bottle and can filling on one machine with 12, 18, 24 or 30 filling stations. The long-tube valve switches to the container type: bottles are pre-evacuated, while cans are pre-purged with CO₂ before docking. Optional neck-handling holders also enable PET bottles in bottle mode. Format parts, changeover and closing equipment are planned for the intended containers.

The filling equipment uses the format parts required for the selected container type.

03

Use the right closure

Bottles and cans use their respective closing components.

OUTPUT DATA

Output by machine size.

Nominal outputs for Pilsner at 4 °C and 5.6 g CO₂/L, using containers suitable for MULTIMA 2in1 and the selected configuration.

Net output of the complete line also depends on infeed, discharge, closing equipment and other operations. We agree the operating conditions and exact configuration together.

MULTIMA 2in1 – example configuration

Example configuration. Equipment and arrangement are defined for your project.

01Mechanical filling valve
Mechanical filling valve

The switchable long-tube valve corresponds to MULTIMA L technology in bottle mode and MULTIMA LC technology in can mode. Bottles undergo vacuum pre-evacuation. For cans, CO₂ displaces the air before docking; vacuum pre-evacuation is not used.

02Crown capper
Crown capper

The cam-controlled crown capper closes bottles after filling. The number of capping stations and its integration depend on the selected machine configuration.

03CO₂ tunnel
CO₂ tunnel

Open cans travel through a CO₂-supplied area between the filler and seamer. This helps limit contact between the product and ambient air.

04Bubble breaker
Bubble breaker

A directed CO₂ jet removes the upper foam layer before seaming. Settings are coordinated with fill height and the product’s foaming behaviour.

05Bottle shower
Bottle shower

After filling and capping, the outside of the bottle is rinsed to help remove product residues from the bottle and closure.

06Can stop
Can stop

During a normal stop, the can stop prevents further containers from entering, allowing cans already in the machine to complete the intended process.

07Hygienic frame design
Hygienic frame design

The base frame reduces horizontal surfaces so water and product residues can drain more easily. Its open construction supports access for cleaning and routine care.

YOUR CONFIGURATION

Configured for your production.

Four sizes

Available with 12, 18, 24 or 30 filling stations. Nominal output depends on machine size and container volume.

Rinsing and closing

Bottle rinsing, crown capping, other closures and can seaming are specified together for the intended operating modes.

Cans, glass and PET

Neck-handling holders for PET bottles are available as an option. Format parts, closures and conversion scope are agreed for your cans and bottles.

For the first discussion, tell us your drink, container, required output and available space. After discussing an indicative budget, we agree the scope for a quotation.

Cleaning and support in operation.

CIP-capable and suitable for steaming

Cleaning in Place means cleaning without dismantling components for the CIP process. This also applies to INVASA and CANVASA. Heat-resistant peroxide-cured EPDM seals allow steaming. We agree the cleaning agents, temperature and procedure for your configuration.

Remote access: you make the connection

For several years, our machines have been supplied with a modem in the control cabinet. Your LAN internet connection enables access through a gateway to our service team. Without that connection, external remote access through the modem is not possible. Telephone and video support are separate ways of helping you.
